We have developed
a full Tour/Tutorial of the Presstimator
which can be used as a learning tool to guide new users through
the features of the program. It includes a general overview and
a more extensive tutorial which goes through the entire program,
including an entire Quote and the Presstimator
Budgeted Hourly Rates (BHR) module. The Tour consists of only
two files (Tour.exe and Demo.dbd) which need to be downloaded
into a folder on your machine.
Version
4.0 - Download the following files (Tour.v40 and Demo.dbd),
or download the zip file which contains both files:
Tour.v40
- Complete Tour for version 4.0
Demo.dbd
To download,
right-click on each of the links above and select 'Save Target
As...'. Locate the folder on your computer where you would like
to save the Tour files. Select 'Save' and the 'Tour.v40' file
will be downloaded into the designated folder. Repeat the same
steps for the Demo.dbd file. Once the download of the files has
completed, open Windows Explorer rename the 'Tour.v40' file which
was just downloaded to 'Tour.exe'. Once the files are copied,
run the Tour.exe file, and you can go through the tutorial at
your own pace.

To download,
right-click on the link above and select 'Save Target As...'.
Locate the folder on your computer where you would like to save
the Tour files. Select 'Save' and the 'Tour.zip' file will be
downloaded into the designated folder. Once the download of the
zip file has completed, run WinZip to extract the two files (Tour.exe
and Demo.dbd) into a folder. Once the files are extracted, run
the Tour.exe file, and you can go through the tutorial at your
own pace.
