Job History.
The Job History stores your Jobs in the same way the Quote History stores
Estimates. Once you indicate that the job has been accepted within a Quote,
the job will now appear on the new Job History screen.
Estimates vs Actuals.
The Presstimator can export to Microsoft Excel a complete analysis of a Quote's
estimated values compared with the job's actual production results. If you
use Harland Simon's PRIMA management system to capture the job's production
data, the Presstimator can import those values directly into the entry fields
for you. This detailed analysis will provide you with data and charts to see
exactly how accurate your estimate was. This information is displayed in both
graphical and numerical formats, utilizing separate Worksheets within Excel.
This spreadsheet report is based on a completely customizable Excel template.
Customizable Job
Ticket. This new report within the Presstimator is a fully-customizable
Job Ticket that is exported to Microsoft Excel. This single-page report can
be used as a cover sheet for a more detailed Job Ticket report.
Website - "Request
A Quote" capabilities. An optional, customizable Web form allows
your customers to request a printing quote through your company's website.
The contents of the request are e-mailed to you, and they can be imported
directly into the Presstimator as a New Quote. Once this data has been imported,
click on the 'Load All Defaults' button to have a Quote calculated in seconds.
Auto-numbering
of Jobs and Customers. You can provide a "Next Job Number" and "Next
Customer Number" in Shop Settings. Within a Quote, you can import the
Job Number into the Quote, and the number stored in Shop Settings will be
incremented automatically for the next use.

from the Delivery Instructions screen. Just fill in the customer address and
click on the View Map button to launch your browser. Once MapQuest displays
the map of the location, you can then print directions to the location to
include with your shipping manifest reports.
We have developed a What's
New Tour of the more significant features of the Presstimator
Version 4.0. The What's New Tour consists of only two files (Tour.exe and Demo.dbd)
which need to be downloaded into a folder on your machine.
Version 4.0 - Download
the following files (Tour.v40 and Demo.dbd), or download the zip file which
contains both files:
To download, right-click
on each of the links above and select 'Save Target As...'. Locate the folder
on your computer where you would like to save the What's New Tour files. Select
'Save' and the 'Tour.v40' file will be downloaded into the designated folder.
Repeat the same steps for the Demo.dbd file. Once the download of the files
has completed, open Windows Explorer rename the 'Tour.v40' file which was just
downloaded to 'Tour.exe'. Once the files are copied, run the Tour.exe file,
and you can go through the What's New Tour at your own pace.
To download, right-click
on the link above and select 'Save Target As...'. Locate the folder on your
computer where you would like to save the What's New Tour files. Select 'Save'
and the 'Tour.zip' file will be downloaded into the designated folder. Once
the download of the zip file has completed, run WinZip to extract the two files
(Tour.exe and Demo.dbd) into a folder. Once the files are extracted, run the
Tour.exe file, and you can go through the tutorial at your own pace.
