** Version 2.1 has been released! We have added many, customer-requested features. Some of the more significant features are described below:
Metric capabilities.
The Presstimator is now able to handle both Metric and US/English units
of measurement. You can select whether Shop Settings should be displayed
in Metric units and you can choose the units for individual Quotes as well.
You can now specify Basis Weight or Grammage for any Stock within the Presstimator. In prior versions of the Presstimator, you had to specify a paper type of "Other" to enter a grammage. In Version 2.1, you can enter a grammage for any listed paper type. Example: You can have a 80 GSM White Newsprint entry in Paper Stocks.
Version 2.1 allows you to enter multiple skid entries in Shop Settings and specify whether the calculations should use the number of Copies per Skid or a Maximum Weight per Skid. Within a Quote, you can optionally specify a requested maximum weight per skid or copies per skid. Each Skid entry in Shop Settings can have its own price per skid.
New 'Jump' button on the Toolbar which allows you to quickly navigate between Specs tabs and the corresponding tab in Quote Details.
New 'Copy MR / IPH' button on the Press tab in Quote Details can be used to copy make-ready times and/or impressions per hour from the selected item in the Summary to all sections within the job.
New Unit Converter calculator which can convert many useful measurements (Basis Weight to Grammage, Metric to US/English units, etc.).
We have developed a What's New Tour of the more significant features of the Presstimator Version 2.1. The What's New Tour consists of only two files (Tour.exe and Demo.dbd) which need to be downloaded into a folder on your machine.
